 | This is an early mg midget 1, july 1961 manufacturer date, the color is ice blue. The interior is the original blue with light blue piping and still has the original jump seat in the back. The hubcaps are the optional ace mercury full cover type. The only thing not original in the interior department is the carpet.
The engine is the original 948 with the smooth case transmission. there is only 44,000 miles on the midget.
The midget originated in new york, purchased by Binko Garage as a wreak. Binko Garage replaced fenders, hood and painted it iris blue (changed the color from the original ice blue) and sold it to a grey hound bus driver. The bus driver and his wife owned it until his death, when his wife sold the midget to their neighbor in the late 70's or early 80's. We purchased the midget from the neighbor's son in 2005.
