The BBC began in 1984 as a group of British motorcar enthusiasts who gathered to share experiences in repairing, restoring and driving their cars. The club was incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 1988.
Blount British Cars, Ltd. has planned car drives and other activities throughout the year and participates in joint activities with other area clubs.
Our club
Blount British Cars, Ltd. has become a leader in the East Tennessee area by hosting “Springtime in the Smokies,” a British car gathering. The first year, we “gathered” at Maryville College for British Day with 16 cars. Since then we have grown to more than 150 British cars at some shows. The British car gathering is now held on the grounds of the Talley Ho Inn in Townsend, Tennessee, usually the second Saturday in May. The event is open to all British cars and motorcycles.
