Blount British Cars, Ltd. has become a leader in the East Tennessee area by hosting a British car gathering each spring. The first year (1987), they “gathered” at Maryville College for British Day with sixteen cars. Since then, the annual event often includes more than 150 British cars. The British car gathering is now held on the grounds of the Talley Ho Inn in Townsend, Tennessee.

As in recent years, Blount British Cars is continuing its partnership with the English Auto Society of Knoxville in sponsoring the event. The English Auto Society of Knoxville (EAS) was formed in 1984. Its membership consists of enthusiasts of British cars – old and new, or who may not even own one. The EAS participates throughout the year with planned drives, member tech. sessions, and activities with other local clubs. Visit their website: englishauutosociety.org.
